The Amalgamation Of Soundz was thought up by DJ Jean Claude Thompson. He thought that music didn’t need to fit into the traditional genres but could blend all different types of music. This is something that he has held true ever since.
Read moreIn 1990 Jean-Claude met another DJ, Mark Harbottle, at a party. Mark agreed with Jean-Claude’s philosophy about music but it wasn’t until three years later that they actually started working together as The Amalgamation Of Soundz and putting that philosophy into practice. Since 1996 they have released music on Filter, Compost, Ubiquity, Moving Shadow and they recorded the Coastal EP for Tru Thoughts.
