Moonchild’s ‘Little Ghost’ released

Today, soulful LA-based three piece Moonchild release their latest album Little Ghost . The much-anticipated follow-up to 2017’s Voyager sees the group breeze through sweltering reflections on desire by way of dreamy vocals and amplified alternative R&B distortions. The release is accompanied by new single “What You’re Doing”.

Little Ghost – available to buy or stream now https://moonchild.ffm.to/littleghost.owe – is a balancing act between modern funk (“Wise Women”, “Onto Me”) and the upper echelons of soul (“Too Much to Ask”, “The Other Side”). With the trio in top form, long-time listeners will find something to sink their teeth into while new fans will unearth an experimental R&B record tailor-made for the modern age. In context of the record, “What You’re Doing” continues with a romance that is so palpable in sound.

Moonchild will play their new material on a headlining U.S. autumn tour. After a year of performing at festivals worldwide and on tours with modern jazz heavyweight Kamasi Washington and alt-R&B luminaries The Internet, the 30 plus dates will take them across the country hitting stages in major cities, from Brooklyn Bowl in New York City to the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.
