Saturday 18th April 2020, save the date. Record Store Day is fast approaching. 

Here in the UK, over 200 independent record shops come together to host RSD that, as well as releases, brings exclusive appearances, events and performances. Tru Thoughts RSD releases for 2020 will be:

The Bamboos – ‘Twenty Years’

To celebrate 20 years of the Australian funk & soul band, The Bamboos present a collection of their most loved tracks on dinked black 7″ vinyl in a full colour double gatefold sleeve. Featuring tracks from ‘Rawvill’ (2007) and ‘4’ (2010), this limited release is an essential item to any fan collection.

Moonchild – “The Truth (DJ Jazzy Jeff & James Poyser Remix) / Run Away (Eric Lau & Kaidi Tatham Remix)”

LA based trio Moonchild present a limited edition red hot/blue splatter featuring two of their most iconic remixes courtesy of DJ Jazzy Jeff & James Poyser and Eric Lau & Kaidi Tatham.

Inaugurated in 2008, RSD annually takes place around the world with artists and labels releasing limited editions of new releases and re-presses featuring remixes, reworks or alternate versions of the original. Check out the RSD website for more information.
