“I have been a big fan and buyer of Wax Poetics magazine since it first appeared, so feels really nice to be interviewed by Andy Thomas about 25 years of Tru Thoughts. Talking about my early days and interest in music from a child, to picking out some selections from the label catalogue.

When I first visited the USA I met with the original team in their office alongside Will Quantic and managed to get a few issues that I was missing whilst I was there too. It is great to see the Wax Poetics ethos continue today, and still exist as a physical magazine too.” Robert Luis
