Internationally acclaimed harpist Alina Bzhezhinska and Ibiza-based producer Tulshi introduce their forthcoming album ‘Whispers of Rain’, Alina’s debut album with Tru Thoughts, with “Across the Sea”—a sunlit, glitch-infused composition set for release on Tuesday 22nd April. Alina will be hosting an album listening party at Brilliant Corners, London on Monday 23rd June, followed by an album launch show at The Vortex, London on Monday 7th July. The live performance will feature Tulshi alongside Tony Kofi & Ni Maxine.

Building on the synergy of their debut single and album namesake “Whispers of Rain”, the duo explore the sentiment of finding a new home, both physically and emotionally,  while feeling the quiet pull of what’s been left behind on “Across the Sea”.“There’s a feeling of longing, of bittersweet emotion that comes with that and you hear that in the climax of this track,” Tulshi reflects. Movement is at the heart of the composition, with Alina’s harp mirroring the rise and fall of waves, while Tulshi’s intricate production shapes an atmosphere of solitude and contemplation.“This was like sailing across the Mediterranean—sun, pleasure, adventure and freedom. Nothing was planned, we just took the journey as it came,” Alina adds. Gentle glitches ripple through the track, like the fizz and crackle beneath the ocean’s surface, while a steady pulse grounds the piece without constraining its tide. Expansive yet intimate, “Across the Sea” captures the exhilaration of discovery and the quiet poignancy of change.

‘Whispers of Rain’ is an album shaped by movement and stillness, by transition and homecoming. Created on the quiet side of Ibiza, it reflects the cycles of change; how leaving one place can lead to finding another and how stillness can hold as much meaning as motion. Alina and Tulshi’s bond, formed in this space of solitude and renewal, is woven into every note. Their music captures the ebb and flow of life, the longing for what’s passed and the peace found in embracing what’s next.
