Juggle feat. Abacus
WheelUP

Released: 6 Feb 2025

Label: Tru Thoughts

West London DJ and producer WheelUP collaborates with Abacus, aka Harry Bryson from drum and bass duo Pola & Bryson on the soul-flecked, mellow house track ‘Juggle’, released exclusively on Bandcamp. The release follows the triple single Magnetic with multi-hyphenate poet, DJ, and singer-songwriter Sio.

The track masterfully blends a classic yet modern approach to electronic dance music with a distinctly underground edge. Warm, shimmering synth tones, pulsing chords, and distant flickering keys orbit around crisp, house-driven percussion and a cutting bassline. Upbeat and brimming with positive energy Juggle is unmistakably WheelUP, delivering sharp, polished production. Its overarching house feel highlights his continual evolution as a producer, building on his acclaimed broken beat works.

“’Juggle’ is a bubbler, tune for the dance floor, me and Harry Bryson have a great friendship (he’s like my little brother) and when we got to making Juggle we were just juggling and building vibes between us and this is the result. I can hear some influence of early Kaytranada-esque synths with club-ready beats. This one is very much my sound, I think it resonates with the times we live in.” – WheelUP

As part of Pola & Bryson, Harry has cemented his place as one-half of the most talented production duos representing the drum and bass today, with tracks such as Phoneline with Emily Makis (35 million+ plays on Spotify), being hailed by many as “2023’s D&B anthem.” Tracks like Waiting (with Sub Focus) and Too Shy (with IYAMAH) have solidified their reputation as one of the most dynamic and exciting acts in UK dance music today.

The release follows a recent tour across China and WheelUP’s sophomore album, ‘We Are The Magic’, along with recent remixes, including his take on Alice Russell’s Rain and fresh reworks of his tracks by Wipe The Needle, Afriquoi, and Makoto.
