Ebi Soda unveil ‘feely’, a cello-laden, soft-hued reverie, named for its uncanny ability to envelop you in nostalgic haze. Jazz abstractions, swelling electronic textures, and the dark intensity of the strings conjure a surreal, melancholic drone. feely heralds the arrival of Ebi Soda’s forthcoming album, ‘frank dean and andrew’ (out on Friday 19th September), born from the alchemy of tangled cables, humming amps, and brassy exhalations in farmhouse recording sessions.

Having bid farewell to the peeling bedsits of student life, the band decamped to a rambling nine-bed farmhouse, a temporary sanctuary where they could steep themselves fully in the world of Ebi. The fruits of this immersive retreat unfolded as ‘frank dean and andrew’, a project that pushes their ever-evolving sound into uncharted territory.
