Rising south-London producer, engineer, MC & creative vanguard Crafty 893 returns to his grime roots sharing a soul-tipped banger “Don’t Miss”, a track that tells the tale of an altercation; “don’t mess” Crafty adds. It’s another taste from Crafty 893’s sophomore album ‘Boot It’ dropping Fri 7th October. “Don’t Miss” is one for the Crafty 893 heads. Built around an r&b/soul loop, the song is the only straight-up grime track on the new record.

“Don’t Miss” follows a series of singles from the prolific act, including Crafty’s debut vocal and love tune “Easy Nuh”, Boondocks-themed single “Senior Don” and the LP titular track/visuals “Boot It” which garnered support from Sir Spyro (BBC 1Xtra), GRM Daily, Oblig (Rinse FM) and more. All tracks are taken from Crafty’s forthcoming LP project ‘Boot It’, an eleven-track heater that expands the parameters of Crafty’s musical experimentation. ‘Boot It’ demonstrates Crafty’s musical evolution and versatility, moving away from the straight-up grime sound on his debut album ‘Smart Dumb’ and beat-style production on ‘Weapon X’. Instead, the album effortlessly and organically switches it up between a palette of UK sounds such as Rap, Trap, Drill and Afro-Swing with Crafty MCing, singing and sometimes amalgamating the two in a unique way, all while staying true to Crafty’s foundational grime roots.
