“On The Spot EP” is the follow up to the New Orleans’ Grammy-nominated Hot 8 Brass Band’s compelling fifth album ‘On The Spot’, which dropped in March 2017 to high praise from the likes of The Observer and Songlines to Billboard and the Wall Street Journal. The EP also boasts remixes from Foodoo, Alphabets Heaven and Kabuki.
The extensive ‘On The Spot’ tour, saw the band celebrating the album with rapturous audiences across Australasia, Europe (including a sold-out Roundhouse headline in London and drawing one of the biggest crowds seen at the opening of Glastonbury Festival’s (2017) West Holts stage and North America – performing live sessions and interviews along the way for the likes of KCRW, PBS TV, BBC Radio 4, ABC TV and more – they continue to push the boundaries with headlines and festivals throughout possibly their schedule to date.
