Los Angeles-based trio Moonchild – composed of Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, and Max Bryk – the GRAMMY-nominated group prepare to release their sixth studio album, ‘Waves’, on February 20, 2026. The album’s first two singles “Not Sorry” featuring Jill Scott and Rapsody, and “Ride The Wave” featuring Astyn Turr – which dropped on October 10th on World Mental Health Day – set the tone for what’s to come: rich instrumentation, heartfelt lyricism, and a spirit of self-compassion.

Known for their genre-blending mix of soul, R&B, and jazz, Moonchild continues to push creative boundaries while maintaining the warmth, authenticity, and musicianship that have defined their 14-year career. Following their acclaimed Tiny Desk performance and Starfruit – which earned them a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album – ‘Waves’ marks both a return to form and a bold step forward.

‘Waves’ finds Moonchild at their most personal and emotionally resonant. The trio – all multi-instrumentalists who write, arrange, and produce all of their own music – crafted the album as a deeply introspective reflection on mental health, healing, and emotional growth.
